FOCUS IRELAND launched its 2013 Annual Report in Dublin today, as the charity reported a sharp rise of 25% in the number of people its prevention and support services worked with last year.
The charity announced it supported over 10,000 people - who were homeless or at risk of losing their homes – in 2013 compared to 8,000 in 2012.
Focus Ireland also revealed this rising demand for support continues as the charity has already worked with 8,000 people in the first six months of this year. The Focus Ireland Annual Report was launched by Mark Kennedy of the independent Homeless Oversight Group at Buswells Hotel in Dublin.
