The Young Social Innovators Awards took place at Citywest Hotel on Wednesday 8th May and was attended by over 3,000 young people. Sr. Stan, Co-founder of Young Social Innovators and Vodafone Ireland chief executive Anne O’Leary presented the winning students with their awards.

The International Bar Association Conference will take place in Dublin from 1st-5th October 2012 at the Dublin Convention Centre. As part of the Conference a showcase session titled "Lawyers Against Poverty" will take place on Thursday 5th. Keynote Speakers include Sr. Stan, Focus Ireland, Nobel Laurete Professor Muhammad Yunus, Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University and Yasmin Batliwawa, CEO, Advocates for International Development
